Even though it does not feel like it so far, summer is going to be here soon.

For the student, this is a great time as it means that exams are completed…but it also means the tedius task of looking for work has approached.

Now, it is said that for summer work, you should start looking as early as January...thankfully for some, they have done this. For the select few however who simply could not do this, here are some resources to help you find a number of student job sites to see what is currently out there.

As of May 7 2012, the Summer Student program from the Federal Government started.  This means that as of right now, employers are looking for students, just as much as students are looking for employment.

It is still tough to find a job, especially if you are looking to be employed only for a limited number of months, but the jobs are certainly out there.

We have a few tips and resources to get the word out there that you are looking for work, as well as job search websites specifically for student workers for the summer.
