Job Description

Wanted: Senior Production Designer for CG Studio
Position: Senior Designer
Start: Immediately
Department: Design
We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our design team.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Create original concepts and designs for the production that appear in the show
• Finalize and clean up designs (include turnarounds and rotations)
• Keep designs manageable and in line with the modelling days allotted for it
• Keep Design Coordinator in the loop on all activities and any issues that may arise
• Execute changes on designs based on feedback from Art Director
• Maintain the show style with designs and keep designs working within the story specifications
• Demonstrate strong visual interpretation skills with an ability to communicate ideas effectively
• 2 + years in graphic design
• BA/ BFA Degree in Fine Arts or Commercial Arts field an asset, but not required
• Must have strong 2D design experience
• 3D design and modelling experience a definite asset
• Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and multi – tasking skills
• Have experience interfacing with other designers, modellers , animators and directors
• Excellent communication skills (able to communicate creative and technical thoughts and ideas)
•  Strong problem solving skills
• Thrive in a high pressure, deadline oriented environment
•  Enjoy working in a team atmosphere, and has a proactive approach to work
