We have an immediate opening for the position of Office Assistant in our purchasing department. This position may become full time permanent for the right candidate.
Key Job Responsibilities
• To assist buyers in Materials/Purchasing group for data entering, expediting, filing and contacting suppliers
• To prepare Excel workbook and data gathering for analysis & sourcing
• To assist the Materials Manager for various tasks and projects
• To prepare documents for import/export shipments
• To cover front desk and switchboard
• Other duties as required.
• Experience in ERP system preferred
• Fully proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience & knowledge in purchasing process
• Experience in Purchase Order expediting preferred
• Excellent telephone etiquette & manners
• Neat & organized and can work without direct supervision
• Minimum 2 years experience in purchasing or related field
