Job Description

Northam Beverages operates breweries in Kamloops and Whistler, British Columbia, Canada and produces market leading beers, ciders & coolers under its own brand names and also for leading restaurant chains across Western Canada. 

Being just 8 years old and from a modest 6 employees at inception, Northam is today is the #7 beer producer and one of the fastest growing beverage alcohol producers in the province. The Group now retains approximately 60 employees, with 35 in Operations department.

Reporting to the Director of Operations the Plant Manager is a key individual responsible for daily operations at our Kamloops production facility at Northam Beverages.

He or she will be responsible for delivering the agreed weekly finished good production plan while ensuring safe working environment for company employees.

Production plans are achieved via an on-the-floor management style and leadership of the production, maintenance and warehousing teams and related equipment. The right candidate will have experience with packaging equipment operations and will have a hands on approach to problem solving and team leadership.

Computer proficiency and experience with OH&S regulations and practices will be very desirable. Minimum 5 years management / supervisory experience is required.
