Position: Education Program Co-ordinator
Salary: $28/hour

Type: full time (35hour/week), permanent

Joy of Learning International Inc., a private educational institute, is looking for a education program coordinator. We are dedicated to helping students from elementary to secondary level in academic enrichment, language enhancement and college preparation for Canadian or Korean post secondary institutions.

You will mainly provide secondary international students from Korea with helping in math subject. The students are returning to their home country after short term studying in Canada. You will be helping them to achieve academic goal in Korea when they return to home country after the short term experience in Canada.

A successful candidate will possess experience with and proven ability to perform a non-exhaustive list of duties for this position includes;

- Plan and research Korean math curriculum (secondary school subject) for Korean university entrance examination
- Prepare subject material and create lesson plan in math consistent with Korean academic system and structure
- Develop a curriculum that is appropriate to age and school level of Korean students focusing on methods adopted in the Korean academic system
- Evaluate existing programs, and recommended improvements and new programs
- Communicate with parents regarding what the students need to undertake to cope with the level when they are going back to Korea

-Train, supervise, and consult teachers and new staffs

- Minimum four years of relate experience
- Several years of experienc as a math teaching

-A bachelor's degree in related field
- Knowledge of Korean secondary school math curriculum
- Good understanding of Korean university/college entrance systems and how to prepare to succeed in math
