Job Description

We are looking for 1 Head Ethnic Cook to join our team!

Head Ethnic Cook will have to preform all of these duties:

• Determine how food (North Indian) should be presented, and create decorative food displays
• Determine production schedules and staff requirements necessary to ensure timely delivery of services
• Estimate amounts and costs of required supplies, such as food and ingredients
• Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure conformance to established standards
• Instruct cooks and other workers in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food
• Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations
• Managing orders for catering (this may require evening/night shifts)
• Implementing and executing plans for catering and buffet so the orders are completed on time
• Plan and Create new recipes and dishes to potentially add to the menu
• Oversee a Tandoor (clay oven)

There are no educational requirements, Basic English and Hindi is an asset for this position. We would prefer somebody with at least three to five years of experience. Compensation: $21.80 per hour, 40 hours a week. Must be available to work weekends. This is a full-time position. Please e-mail your resume to:
