About WorkBC

WorkBC features carefully selected and organized labour market information. People planning careers, those looking for work, and, the people who help them will all find information to help them navigate B.C.’s labour market. Employers and researchers will also find WorkBC a key doorway to the information they need.

The pages of WorkBC help career explorers and job seekers to find learning opportunities, work and career advancement. Employers will find resources to help them develop a business, find and keep workers, and create a vibrant work environment.

Service providers can access tools and resources to help their clients and to develop professionally. WorkBC also assists researchers and policy analysts to find the information they need for their day-to-day work.

The WorkBC portal was created by the B.C. Ministry of Jobs, Tourism and Innovation, in partnership with BC Stats (Ministry of Labour, Citizens’ Services and Open Government) and the Ministry of Social Development. Funding to create and develop WorkBC has been provided by the BC/Canada Labour Market Agreement (LMA).
