Check the Employment Assistance Services Directory to find employment offices and career services in your neighbourhood.- Use WorkBC’s Labour Market Programs Inventory to find programs and services to help you gain skills and find work. Search by keyword and location and discover what programs and services you qualify for.
- Investigate career and employment services at colleges, universities and institutes. Even if you’re not a student, it’s still worth contacting them - they may be able to offer or recommend services to the public.
- Check with the continuing studies and/or community education division of your local post-secondary institution. They may offer career exploration or related courses to the public.
- Talk to your high school counsellor for career counselling and information.
