The Workplace Training for Innovation Pilot Program provides B.C. small business and not-for-profit employers with access to funding to support employee training that helps improve skills and productivity. Training can be offered offsite or in-house.

The SkillsPlus program is designed to assist small and mid-sized business employers in providing staff with essential skills needed for the workplace. The program provides funding to integrate essential skills into existing training programs.

Employers can also access an online literacy and essential skills toolkit, which offers guidance on how to integrate essential skills into the workplace through training, hiring, assessment and other HR practices.

An additional training resource is the Government of Canada HR for Employers website. It provides a range of tools and information, including types of training programs, delivery methods and more.
