Many people who lose their jobs need temporary financial assistance while they look for work. Depending on your situation there can be several types of Employment Insurance (EI) benefits available to you.

Consult Service Canada’s employment insurance website to see if you qualify for EI. To be eligible, you must obtain a record of employment from your former employer(s).
