Counselling Programs – Graduate Level
Looking to take your education to the next level? Want to attend a graduate level program full time or engage in part-time studies while continuing to work? Consider the following options.
- The University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University and the University of Victoria offer graduate level Counselling Psychology programs. Focus areas include school or higher education counselling, community-based agency counselling, vocational rehabilitation counselling, and other specialties.
- • The University of Northern British Columbia offers a Master of Education degree with a Counselling Specialization. The program trains counsellors to work in education, social service and community health settings.
Career Practitioner Certificate Programs
Certificate programs offer an alternative way to develop skills and acquire a designation. The following institutions provide career development practitioner certificate programs.

- Douglas College and the College of New Caledonia offer part-time Career Development Practitioner Certificate Programs.
