Essential skills and job readiness training program for eligible persons with multiple barriers, without previous attachment to the labour force or a sporadic employment history

  • Six weeks essential skills and job readiness training
  • Six month follow-up

  • Essential skills training including workplace literacy and communication
  • Life skills workshops
  • Job readiness training
  • Industry certificate training

Eligibility:

  • Unemployed and
  • Employed, low-skilled

Cariboo Business Entrepreneur Skills Training (C-BEST)

Entrepreneurial skills training for eligible youth, with a focus on Indigenous persons and persons with disabilities

Duration:

  • 4-16 weeks, depending on participant needs

Services/ Programs:

  • Business plan development
  • One-on-one workshops
  • Mentoring and networking
  • Online education option

Eligibility:

  • Unemployed and
  • Youth (15-29 years, inclusive) and/or
  •  Indigenous persons and/or
  • Persons with disabilities
