Position: Dispatcher, Mail Service (NOC- 1525)

Duration: Full Time Permanent Position

Job Location: Surrey, BC

Education: High School

Experience: 1 year preferred

Number of openings: 3

Wage: $23.08/hour for 40 hours per week

Language: Basic Knowledge of English is required.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties:

·        Dispatch Workers according to schedules and work orders.

·        Operate communication equipment to communicate with workers and other persons required.

·        Monitor the GPS and location of workers.

·        Maintain records of Mileage, Fuel use, repairs and other related expenses.

·        Maintain time sheets and payroll records.

·        Monitor personnel workloads and locations.

·        Follow up with Customers or Clients for special delivery instructions and delivery appointments.

·        Keep track of shipments, drop-offs and pickups.

·        Follow up with drivers to make sure deliveries are getting done on time, arrange for help if any driver is running behind the schedule.

·        Maintain close relations with drivers and customers.

·        Advice drivers if there are any changes on road conditions like extreme weather conditions, delay due to accidents, congestions, weight restrictions and construction.
