Work and coordinate with customers, subcontractors and engineers regarding plans and layouts.
Prepare estimates for home construction, renovation and restoration projects.
Select and employ trade subcontractors and coordinate their activities to do specialized work.
Inspect subcontractors work to ensure quality and conformity with plans and specifications.
Ensure that construction permits are obtained.
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations.
May perform carpentry or other trade work.
Supervise subcontractors to do specialized work such as plumbing and heating.
Prepare and maintain a directory of customers, subcontractors, suppliers and engineers.
Prepare advertising strategies to promote company's products and services.
