Job Description

As a Project Analyst, Health Benefits, you will lead business analysis activities for the Healthy Medication Use project. Under the direction of the FNHA Pharmacist, you will document project business processes, provide funding recommendations for participants within the project, and support implementation of funding and services.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Complete end-to-end documentation of project implementation methods and processes followed by communities, participates in project evaluation and contributes to annual reports on funds usage and required metrics to Health Canada. 2. Identifies qualitative and quantitative project outputs achieved by communities and documents outputs according to pharmacy services and best practices. 3. Develop proposed budget 2019/20 for communities participating in the Healthy Medication Management Initiative-Medication Management Activities. 4. Support communities in obtaining pharmacy services by analyzing processes, identifying opportunities to eliminate process waste and documenting requirements for increased services needs. 5. Collaborate with cross-organization team members and stakeholders to manage and execute business analysis activities in a timely and clear fashion including external partners and vendors. 6. Determine requirements to enhance pharmacy services and translate them into process flows to support the achievement of the project goals. 7. Assist with project life cycle planning, monitoring, control and documentation including, but not limited to, development and delivery of progress reports, issue, risk and decision management and escalation, creation of project outputs such as scope statements, plans, schedules, and presentations. 8. Perform other related duties.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * Grade 12, including completion of one year of related post-secondary education, plus one (1) year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience * Business Analysis experience in managing large scale and complex applications project * BC/Canadian healthcare project experience as a Business Analyst strongly preferred * Experience working in healthcare sector
