Job Description

Community Futures Fraser Fort George is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to join their team for 22.5 hours per week. This position may increase in hours as we are experiencing growth in a number of programs, services, and client numbers. This position will primarily assist the Officer of Finance and Administration and the Business Analysts; however, will be required to engage and support all members of our team.

We are looking for a team player that is:

• Experienced in financial management, experience with Adagio is an asset

• Knowledgeable in accounting practices for loans, an asset

• Capable of organizing and processing accounts payable and receivable • Able to support the loans program by providing the Business Analysts with administrative support

• Comfortable assisting with the office technology, including, but not limited to: the network system, supporting team members with learning more complex programs, setting up systems and learning how to become proficient with a number of programs

• Fully savvy in file management – both hard copy files and digital files

• An ability to oversee the regular building maintenance

• Flexible with taking on assignments that are outside of the normal realm of administration

• Constantly striving for improvements


• A diploma or equivalent experience in accounting, knowledge in Adagio an asset

• Proven track record in time management and ability to manage multiple tasks

• Highly proficient in record management • Intermediate knowledge of IT, preferred

• Demonstrated record of being a strong team player

• High level problem solving

• Willingness to learn and explore new opportunities • Strong commitment to the people and communities we serve
