Job Description

Nita Lake Lodge located at 2131 Lake Placid Rd, Whistler, BC, V0N 1B2, is looking for a Night Auditor. This is a full-time, permanent position. The wage offered is $18/hour and staff housing is available. Benefits include extended medical after 6 months, ski pass financing, bonuses, and discounts on food, beverage and the spa. The location of work is Whistler, British Columbia, and English is the primary language at this workplace.

Key job duties:

  • Audit the daily guest ledger of the Hotel, Spa and Food & Beverage departments using computerized systems, to balance and verify entries and investigate and correct any discrepancies.
  • Compile and process receipts and vouchers.
  • Assist in the preparation of all reports relevant to daily revenues.
  • Transmit credit card batches.
  • Conduct walks of the property to ensure guests are complying with hotel policies are.
  • Perform all Guest Service Agent functions as required, including checking guests in and out of the hotel, providing information on the hotel and local area, answering guest inquiries, and responding to guest complaints.
  • Process guest arrivals: prepare documents and keys required for check in, assign rooms, and greet and register arriving guests.
  • Process guest departures: check guest accounts, calculate charges and receive payments
  • Make, confirm, cancel and change reservations.
  • Promptly and courteously attend to telephone calls and direct as appropriate
  • Maintain up to date inventory.
  • May assist with training new team members from time to time.


  • Completion of high school or equivalent required.
  • Post-secondary education in hospitality an asset, but not mandatory.
  • Ideal candidate will have prior hospitality/cash handling/accounting experience.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office software (including but not limited to: Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and problem solving.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts, evenings and weekends as required.
