Job Description

Affinity Manufacturing Ltd is a custom manufacturing company capable of manufacturing a multitude of precision components and assemblies. Located in Surrey BC, our team is looking for one full time, CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Technologist to join us as soon as possible.

Job Duties:

1.      Operate computer-assisted design (CAD) to create component assemblies and details.

2.      Work closely with machinists to improve design and to establish efficient production and installation procedures

3.      Develop and prepare engineering designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data

4.      Read and interpret designs as well as develop and prepare design sketches

5.      Check and verify design drawings to conform to specifications and design data


Job Requirements:

1.      Completion of an engineering, designing or drafting program is required

2.      Effective English language skills.

3.      Ability to work independently under minimal supervision


Required skills:

1.      Must be organized and detail oriented

2.      Must be able to work under pressure


Salary: $ 25.00 hourly for 40 Hours per Week.
