What You Will Do

Scheduling:

  • using the current scheduling format
  • working within labour targets
  • balancing shifts with experience, training and customer service in mind
  • minimum of 2 weeks scheduling posted at all times

Accounting:

  • balancing of daily cash-outs
  • distribution of staff tips
  • bank deposits
  • ensuring store is equipped with a sufficient float

Ordering:

  • product orders, inventory control, maintenance of food related budgets

Maintenance:

  • quarterly preventative maintenance of all in-store equipment

Health Code Compliance:

  •  ensure health and safety standards are met in accordance with BC health code
  •  ensure team members are following procedure to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment

Planning:

  • prepare weekly sales goals
  • establish customer focus goals
  • determine weekly training goals

Troubleshooting:

  • liaise with vendors to resolve equipment failure issues as needed ( ie. moneris, shaw cable, GFS)

Conflict Resolution:

  • mediate internal issues to help find a suitable solution for the team
  • respond to customer concerns in a prompt and professional manner

Human Resources/Training:

  • managing the hiring and on-boarding of new staff members
  • termination of staff members when determined an appropriate action
  • uphold an ongoing commitment to training and cross-training of staff
  • establish weekly plans to fortify and support training goals

Team Building:

  •  employ creative thinking to to assist in building a strong team (ie. volunteering opportunities, group challenges)
