Role and Responsibilities
The Marina Sealift Operator is responsible for operating the Sea-Lift for hauling out and launching vessels from/to water.  Assisting the Yard Foreman in smooth running of all marina operations including dryland boat storage, boat haul out and launching, forklift and hydraulic boat lift, forklift, telehandler and general yard maintenance.

The incumbent will be responsible to:

  • Greet customers with a smile and a helpful attitude
  • Carefully listen to and help the customer and other marina staff with requests or issues
  • Operate the sealift hydraulic lift equipment with ease and comfort
  • Assist with marina and boat yard maintenance
  • Launch boats with telehandlers on trailers; operate the forklift and pressure washer as required
  • Handle customer and co-employee interaction in a friendly and respectful manner
  • Adhere to procedures to ensure boat yard safety and cleanliness


  • Must have a minimum of 1 - 2 year’s Sea-Lift operation experience, handling vessels in 45’ to 60’ length overall, with a high level of proficiency
  • Must have a very good knowledge of the hydraulic operation of the Sea-Lift
  • Must have previous marine experience
  • Must have knowledge of boating service equipment and boats 
  • High School Diploma
  • Valid driver's license and have reliable transportation
  • Proficiency in English and enjoy working outdoors
