Job Location: 9328 120th Street, Surrey, BC, V3V4B8 Canada.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess PCs/ laptops, hardware and software of the network, servers, and other devices to identify potential issues. 
  • Install, maintain, resolve, and examine network cabling.
  • Should be able to promptly troubleshoot issues to ensure that computers and network equipment are always up and working.
  • Should be conversant with network management and network ecosystem.
  • Ability to explain technical issues to personnel belonging to non-technical backgrounds.
  • Provide technical direction to co-workers on computer and network usage and offer comprehensive advice and instructions.

Job Requirements:

  • Language: English
  • Education: Completion of 1 or 2 years of College Diploma in Computer Technology or IT – general
  • Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience.

Skills Expectations:

  • Good people skills with technical and non-technical users. Dealing with end users, communication with all levels (management and end-users), knowing when and how to escalate, etc.
  • Positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively and work independently
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate a willingness to advance your technical knowledge and skills
