Title: General Construction Supervisor

Job Requirements:

·         Education: Completion of Secondary Education is required.

·         Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the relevant field.  

Job Duties:

•         Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of workers who operate construction, paving, drilling, and other similar heavy equipment.

•         Create and monitor schedules for each worker and ensure that the worker has physical and mental ability to cope.

•         Meet construction budget by monitoring project expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions; providing non-project annual operating and capital budget information.

•         Requisition or ordering materials and supplies.

•         Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity.

•         Preparing schedules, work progress, production and other reports.

•         Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

•         Recommend personnel actions such as hiring, promotions and train or arrange training for workers.

•         May also supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of related apprentices, helpers and laborers.
