Job Description

Job Title:  Sanitation Employee

Reports To:      Sanitation Manager

Job Overview:  As a member of the Sanitation team, it's your job to work together with your team and get the best results.


High performance is the key to any business, and as Sanitation you play a vital role in helping the business run smoothly.

Responsibilities and Duties include, but not limited to:


·         Perform sanitation procedures throughout the facility following guidelines set out by QA department

·         Maintain accurate and organized records of sanitation activities

·         Encourage and enforce cleanliness on the part of the staff and ensure safe working conditions

·         Maintain all documentation for the purpose of auditing

·         Co-operate with government agencies during inspections in order to meet and maintain high production standards


Necessary Skills

·         Understanding of food safety & HACCP principles

·         Precise attention to detail

·         Ability to be self-directed and make independent decisions

·         High level of organizational skills, including written and verbal communication, creative problem solving, and commitment to company goals

·         Basic math and literacy

·         Ability to understand and operate basic product testing equipment

·         Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

·         Organizational skills must be able to plan and execute daily schedule with available resources.

·         Conflict resolution, the ability to diffuse potential situations between parties involved

Language Skills: 

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers


Reasoning Ability:

  • Communication skills both oral and written a must
