Archway Construction Ltd., located at Unit 309A – 8988 Fraserton Court, Burnaby, BC V5J 5H8, urgently requires 2 Permanent & Full Time Carpenters. 

Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Maintain, repair and renovate wooden structures in residential & commercial establishments.
• Supervise other workers.
• May prepare cost estimates based on home plans.

Eligibility Requirements:

·         Completion of secondary school

·         At least 2 years of experience in the trade OR 3 to 4 years apprenticeship program in carpentry

Compensation: $25.00-30.00 hour for 40 hours/week along with 4% vacation pay
