Job title: Truck Dispatcher (NOC: 1525)

Wage rate: $25.00 per hour for 40 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend, Morning, Day, Evening

Anticipated start date: As soon as possible

Location of work: Various locations across North America

Responsibilities:

Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries; Operate communication and dispatching equipment; Keep knowledge of trucking associated rules and regulation and also, cross border dispatching regulations and practices; Determine most efficient ways of routing and transportation for the delivery or pick up of goods; Schedule deliveries by engaging truck drivers in conversation to provide them with information on route and delivery times; Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with shipments; Maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information; Monitor drivers’ daily logs for errors or violations and monitor their working hours and equipment availability; Record mileage, fuel use, repairs and other expenses

Requirements:

Education: Completion of secondary school

Experience: Training will be provided

Language: English
