Job Description

Reporting to the Outdoor Supervisor, part time TICKET BOOTH CASHIERS are ambassadors for the club and will undertake their duties in a responsible and friendly manner.

This position will be responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Collect cash, debit, and credit card payments from customers
  • Answer customer questions as they arise
  • Make change accurately and efficiently
  • Issue receipts to customers
  • Clean workspaces and outbuildings
  • Maintain control over cash register drawer and verify amounts are correct
  • Prepare bank deposits
  • Open and close the ticket booth

 

As a Revelstoke Snowmobile Club employee, it is your responsibility to follow the Club’s safety and best practices to the best of your ability, as well as maintain a friendly and positive attitude every day with all guests and employees.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • 3-6 months experience handling money and working with a cashier
  • Proficient with computers
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and understand instructions
  • Ability to perform basic math easily and quickly
  • Must have experience operating a cash register
  • Comfortable with cash handling
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Minimum 20 horus per week
  • Must have class 5 drivers license and vehicle or transportation.

 

 

Reporting to the Outdoor Supervisor, part time PARKING LOT ATTENDANTS are ambassadors for the club and will undertake their duties in a responsible and friendly manner.

This position will be responsible for:

  • Safely directing traffic in Boulder Mountain snowmobile staging areas. 
  • Evaluating parking to ensure optimal utilization of area and maintain safety of all guests.
  • Resolve customer concerns and control traffic at entrance and exits.
  • Communicate with Outdoor Supervisor visitors that are violating rules or that are confrontational.
  • Identify and communicate safety hazards in a timely manner.
