Salary: $40.31/hour. Evening premium-$0.75/hour, night premium-$1.25/hour. Unionized.

Shifts: Rotation Shifts – 3 weeks days/2 weeks evenings/1 weeknights.

Education: Must possess Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright) interprovincial License.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of troubleshooting and repairing high-speed packaging equipment as a Licensed Millwright.

  • Experienced in safe work practices: confined space entry, lockout / tagout, and hotwork.

  • Practical experience in basic welding, plumbing and machining.

Skills and abilities:

  • In-depth understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic functions.

  • Able to work with limited supervision.

  • Highly motivated and possess good interpersonal and communication skills to work in a team environment.

  • Basic keyboarding skills and familiar with CMMS systems.

  • Adhere to the food safety required as per job duties and report non-conformities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical services to maintain safe and efficient operations to Brewery equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and repair Brewery equipment in a fast-paced environment to minimize downtime.

  • Perform preventative maintenance and equipment overhauls.

  • Install new equipment, if required.

  • Maintain all records/documentation and ensure completion of paperwork

  • Diagnose and correct mechanical problems with Brewery equipment.

  • Rotational shifting.

  • Other duties as required.
