Job Description

Roden & Associates Chartered Professional Accountants is seeking a full-time office receptionist/manager.  This individual will possess strong communications skills, time management abilities and IT knowledge.  This position will see the successful candidate focus upon meeting the needs of our clients.

Your Role:

 

·         Liaise directly with clients in positive and efficient manner

·         Client billing and processing payments

·         Ability to learn a wide variety of assigned tasks

·         To successfully multitask on a day to day basis

·         Assisting with income tax return assembly and office procedures

·         Ability to work additional hours and weekends during the months of March and April

·         Maintain office inventory and supplies

 

 

Qualifications:

·         Experience using Microsoft Office

·         Some exposure to SAGE 50, Quickbooks, TPS and Taxcycle Softwares would be beneficial

  • Ability to communicate clearly with clients
  • Ability to work under stressful situations created by increased workload during tax season
  • Possess interpersonal skills and positive attitude
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks

 

Desirable:

  • Exceptional communication, problem solving, customer service and organizational skills
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently to meet deadlines
  • High standard of integrity and professional demeanor
  • Bookkeeping skills
