Job Description

Scott Asbestos is a growing company specializing in the removal of hazardous materials such as asbestos and lead as well as mould remediation. We are currently in search of general labourers to train as hazmat technicians. If you have a can do attitude and wish to be part of a family-like team, then WE WANT YOU!!

Experience is not a necessity as we will train you with a combination of in-house and external training programs. If you are willing to learn, we are ready to train you! We also provide all the tools and personal protective equipment to get the job done safely.

We do have a few requirements:

  • hold a valid BC drivers license and have a reliable vehicle as many of our job sites are not accessible by bus - attendance is key
  • be clean shaven to be able to wear a respirator
  • willing to go into crawl spaces and attic space
  • ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • pass a criminal record check
  • have a positive attitude and the desire to be part of a team
  • looking to grow within the company

Asbestos training, fall training, confined spaces training, first aid is all offered!

Salary: From $20.00 per hour
