Job Description

Community Apothecary is an independent, no public access pharmacy, with a hard-working, low stress environment. We are offering an opportunity to perform patient counselling, medication reviews, seminars, and work collaboratively in an interprofessional model with a multi-disciplinary team including Nurses, Social Workers, Family Doctor, Psychiatrist, Mental Health Workers, and Community Mental Health Teams.

Community Apothecary is seeking pharmacists to join our caring, passionate, and fun team. The role will primarily involve dispensing activities in the pharmacy (located in Burnaby, BC) with outreach work in Assisted Living Facilities in Vancouver, BC.

Qualifications

-Active Full Pharmacist license and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Ability to work independently

- Good time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail

- Strong interpersonal skills with a caring, empathic approach

- Experience with Kroll (Telus Health), Microsoft Office

- Ability to dispense OAT and keen on working with the mental health & addictions population

- Excellent communication skills

Hours

Sunday to Saturday: 8 am to 7 pm
