About the Opportunity

The BCTF currently has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Disability Case Manager to join us on a full-time basis in Vancouver, BC. 

Reporting to the Income Security Division Manager, the Disability Case Manager is part of a team that manages the Salary Indemnity Plan (SIP) cases for BCTF members and determines members’ eligibility and candidacy for rehabilitation through the BCTF Health and Wellness (H&W) Program.

More About You

In order to qualify for this role, you will need to have a minimum of 5 years of experience in disability and claim management within a unionized environment in an intermediate to large organization demonstrating knowledge of computerized health and benefit administration, claims processing and adjudication, and vocational rehabilitation principles and practices. In addition, completion of a university degree in a health-related discipline, social science, or other related field, and eligibility for a professional designation related to Disability Management is required. A certificate in Medical Terminology is an asset.
