Sawmill Production Workers – Salmo B.C.

We are currently seeking to fill positions for Sawmill Production Workers. We offer full time employment, competitive wages, and a benefits package. We are committed to the development of our employees within our organization, opportunities for growth are available for those who show initiative.

Previous sawmill experience is not required. A premium in pay is offered for applicants with a valid OFA 3 or Lumber Grading Ticket. We are hiring for full time positions, 8 hr/day, 5 days/week. Shift schedules are determined as operations require.

Qualifications of successful applicants:

  • Previous labour experience an asset 
  • Able to perform the physical demands of the job including standing, walking, repetitive bending, turning, and lifting up to 25lbs at a brisk pace.
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner, following all safety rules and procedures including use of PPE as required
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently as needed 
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • Have reliable transportation
  •  Available for shift work as operations require

CSA safety toe work boots are required, all other PPE is supplied.
