Wage: $30 CAD/hour

Hours: 40 hours/week

Position: Video Executive producer (NOC: 0512)

Job Responsibilities:

·         Organize client meetings to define and plan ongoing business needs for video, set expectations, and explain workflows and processes;

·         Manage video production from concept to completion – including scheduling, storyboarding, identifying shoot locations; filming, editing, music selection, text and animation, photo selection, secure approvals, delivery etc.;

·         Post schedule, keep deadlines on track and keep the client updated, day-to-day management to keep the projects on time;

·         Prepare, manage and track budget; negotiate scope to fit within the budget;

·         Manage the feedback loop and check feedback from clients has been addressed;

·         Post-production supervision management, timeline management, delivering videos to clients,

·         Coordinate travel and equipment for video shoots; secure required safety permits and liaise with on-site safety coordinator;

·         Understand government regulations and ensure all productions conformance with regulations;

·         Hire and manage crews.


Job Requirements

·         A university degree or college diploma in communications, broadcasting, journalism, digital media or other arts discipline;

·         A minimum of 3 years of video production experience required;

·         Demonstrated ability to develop video strategies and implement tactics to drive business objectives;

·         Experience project management of all levels of video production, from concept to completion;

·         Excellent interpersonal communication skills; leading a team, and directing;

·         Strong planning, organizational and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
