Position Summary 

The Production Worker will be responsible for operating equipment and preparing items for distribution. This role requires a high level of responsibility, honesty, hard work, and a Health and Safety attitude. The Production Worker will perform all duties in a timely and orderly fashion to the best of their abilities and with the utmost due care, integrity and professionalism. 

Key Responsibilities 

 General Duties: 

• Make a personal commitment to consistently provide superior candidate experience improve the client's employer brand in the market 

• Maintain a good working relationship with all co-workers 

• Read and comply with Human Resources Policies and Procedures 

• Read and comply with Health & Safety Policies and Procedures 

• Assist in the success of the client's Safety Program with suggestions, by setting a good example, and by ensuring that safety is at the forefront of your actions while at work 

Specific Duties: 

• Prepare and assemble galvanized steel, stainless steel, and aluminum sub-assemblies 

• Use a wide variety of mechanical and welding machinery to assemble finished products 

• Sheet metal forming and bending 

• Perform custom hand assembly 

• Conduct regular quality checks to test for non-conformances 

• Opportunity for advancement and growth within other departments (General Manufacturing, Shipping) 

Availability required/Shifts  

Required shift work rotation (day/afternoon) 

Day shift: Monday - Friday - 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM 

Afternoon shift: Monday - Friday - 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM 


• Able to use handheld and power tools 

• Able to read and understand measurements 

• Fluent in written and spoken English 

• Manufacturing/assembly experience considered an asset 

• Experience working with steel and aluminum considered an asset 

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs 


• An additional $1.50 an hour if you join the Health and Safety Committee
