The International Marketing and Recruitment Coordinator (NOC 1123), as a key member of the College’s Marketing & Recruitment team, is responsible for leading the strategic development and delivery of an integrated international marketing and student recruitment plan designed to support the overall business strategy, exceed business objectives, and deliver revenue to the bottom line. The position will lead and oversee a multidisciplinary, distributed team of student recruitment and marketing professionals in defining and delivering a customer centric marketing and student recruitment strategy in line with the strategic business goals of the College and with a focus on lead generation, conversion, and agent management.  

The International Marketing and Recruitment will also provide high level support to the Director, providing senior international marketing representation with both internal and external stakeholders.  

Essential competencies  

  1. Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant area, or an equivalent combination of tertiary education and relevant experience desired. 
  2. Proven track record in the development and execution of integrated international marketing and recruitment plans, using a variety of market and opportunity assessment tools, excellent relationship management skills and business acumen. Ability to operate at a strategic level to navigate different cultures, regulatory, government and education environments.
  3. Advanced communication skills, with excellent verbal and written skills suitable for implementing and communicating operational plans, procedures and business proposals that align with strategic goals, demonstrated initiative to improve processes and stakeholder engagement, with a track-record of leading projects from conception to implementation.
  4. High-level experience in successfully leading and managing a global-focused, business development or marketing function, overseeing and progressing projects in collaboration with academic colleagues.
  5. A positive attitude to challenges with outstanding leadership skills, demonstrated experience initiating, leading, and managing change in a challenging and dynamic environment while continuing to achieve strategic objectives.
  6. Ability to travel nationally and internationally 

Desirable competencies  

  1. The ability to communicate in a language other than English is an asset. 
  2. Knowledge of the Canadian and international higher education system.
  3. Knowledge of relevant local and international legal, government systems and structures.
  4. Demonstrated knowledge of the international education legislation
