Job Description

Remedy Wellness Centre is seeking a full time or part time Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join us. This is a great place to practice where you can be part of a multidisciplinary team who support each other. We are very professional but also like to have fun and keep it light. Patients often comment about the positive energy when they walk in the door. All 7 treatment rooms and our studio are spacious with minimalist modern decore, hydraulic tables, air conditioning, bluetooth speakers, dimmable lights, sound proofing. We have a large staff room and a deck area. Use of clinic linens is optional for a small fee. Full time reception and office management, Jane App, marketing, direct billing for everything except WCB is included. You provide your own oil and any other products or supplies you need. Flexible schedule and hours with  both percent split and flat rate contract options.

The ideal candidate will have some experience, but new grads are welcome to apply as well. We have several veteran RMT’s with 10-30+ years, who love to mentor. We have a reputation for excellence and strive to keep it that way by offering very high quality care. Our practitioners are on board and up to date with modern pain science and biopsychosocial approaches to treatment plan management. (There are free courses on PainBC, FYI). Each treatment should be specific to the patients needs, with clinical reasoning and assessment behind the approach. We also have digital communication protocols in place to encourage confidential dialogue between multiple practitioners/disciplines treating the same patient. We feel it’s important to all be on the same page with the treatment plan and ensure the patient isn’t being given conflicting advice from different practitioners.

Work culture is very important to us. During the Covid closure period we had Friday morning coffee via Zoom just to stay connected. We have regular staff outings like escape roomS, games night or casual drinks. We host study groups and mentor programs in our studio space. We have very low turnover of both practitioners and admin staff, because it really is great to work here.
