Job Description

Rycel Enterprises Ltd. is looking for a Non-destructive testing (NDT) Technician. The right candidate must have:

Education:     Completion of secondary school

Completion of two year or longer Engineering program preferred

Experience:  Minimum 2 years but 5 years of industry experience preferred

Certificate preferred: Level II certified for Ultrasound Testing (UT), Level I or II Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD), Level II Phased Array (PAUT)



1)      Generating and evaluating NDT reports complying with the test procedures including the review of reference or related codes, specifications, standards, and quality assurance instruction.

2)       Detecting deficiencies using NDT methods and procedures of inspection

3)      Provide support and advice to the clients seeking NDT equipment, accessories, and services.

4)      Confer with clients and other members of the engineering team and conduct research to determine project requirements

5)      Interpret or evaluate test results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, or procedures

6)      Understand and complete work assignments as per company inspection procedures, in a timely, effective and competent manner

7)      Oversee repair and maintenance for equipment assigned and ensure related documentation is maintained

8)      Record results of inspections and perform NDT methods and other operations

9)      Responsible to adhere to all safety regulations, standards and maintain safe work practices

10)  Responsible to mentor and provide guidance to assistant crew members

11)  Communicate with clients in a friendly, efficient and professional manner when interacting

12)  Resolve client questions, concerns or complaints

Salary: $36 per hour for 40 hours a week
