About the Role

This is a new role created to support EBH's growth. As the Enterprise Solution Architect, you will be responsible for driving innovative but pragmatic technology thought leadership throughout the company. You will be responsible to assess, develop, and assist with the implementation of new technology investments aimed at the digitalization of E.B. Horsman. The Enterprise Solution Architect will require a deep passion for improving the experience of customers while having an appreciation for the challenges associated with the digital transformation of a fast-paced, high-growth, highly collaborative, entrepreneurial business. This role will be reporting to Vice President, Digital Solutions. 

Position Type/Schedule

This role will be based out of Head Office with the flexibility of a hybrid remote work option. We work closely together in our virtual environment, getting together in person when we can. While reasonable flexibility is encouraged this is a full-time, Monday to Friday position.

What you will bring to this role? 

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, IT, related technical field or equivalent work experience.
  • TOGAF certification (ideal, but not required)
  • Skilled in all aspects of system design including tools capability, integration design, data modelling, security & privacy, business process implementation, etc.
  • Able to lead technical discussions with internal customers that drive decisions and implementation.
  • Have a solid understanding of delivery methodology to help ensure solutions are implemented according to the design/architecture
  • Enjoy working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to maximize M365 functionality and user experience
  • Able to stay current on technology, ie. M365 features and capabilities including availability, reliability, performance, monitoring, backup, and security
  • Have an ability to visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems
  • Have a high standard of organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Able to participate in compliance and security reviews as necessary
  • Able to work with third-party service providers to ensure E.B. Horsman business and architectural requirements and standard are being met
  • Ability to be inclusive, collaborative, and respectful  

Desired Technology Skills

Knowledge in:

  • Custom application development and enterprise integrations (.NET Framework/Core, ASP.NET/ Core)
  • Cloud platform technology (Azure, AWS)
  • Digital Workplace technology (i.e., SharePoint, Office 365)
  • Digital and eCommerce (i.e., B2B and B2C)
  • CRM design and implementation (i.e., Dynamics CRM)
  • Back-end web technologies (LAMP)
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, and specifically: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams (and its voice and video capabilities), Yammer, and Power Platform (PowerBI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Understand administrative, security, and data loss prevention capabilities of Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with Azure AD, and Azure AD Connect
