AEGIS Program

The AEGIS program prepares participants for work as Community Support Workers. Participants receive instruction in theoretical knowledge, workplace practice and skills, and professional, personal, and community supports. Eligible individuals in small BC communities receive assistance with travel and living expenses to participate in the program's core locations.

Practice Care

The Practice Care program supports survivors of domestic violence who are newcomers and/or visible minorities. Training includes essential skills, soft skills, and ECE skills and certification. Participants also receive wraparound supports and long-term mentoring.

Career Pathways to Success: An Innovative Employment Program for Survivors of Domestic Violence

The Career Pathways to Success program supports survivors of domestic violence enter the workforce. Training includes a career self-discovery process and short-term certificates. Participants also receive post-training supports to find employment or move onto further education.
