SAHARA – Substance Abuse Health and Recovery Awareness Program
Targeted towards visible minority men in addiction recovery, the SAHARA program prepares participants for work in a warehouse environment. The program includes group counselling, training on digital literacy skills, Forklift and First Aid. It also includes one-on-one coaching, on-the-job training and language supports.

The Learn and Earn program has three streams: Prepare (employment preparation training), Employ (attachment to the workforce through EMBERS) and Up-Skill (skills training for higher-skilled jobs in construction and other trades).
