Care Economy

Learn about the Care Economy and how you can be a part of it.

What is the Care Economy?

The Care Economy involves caregiving and support services that promote individual and community wellbeing.  It includes jobs in health care, education and social services. People in the Care Economy nurture and support the present and future generations.

As demand for elder and childcare increases, so does the demand for workers in the Care Economy. This means a higher demand for direct care roles, but also administrative, human resources and finance positions.
