Community and Employer Partnerships

Community and Employer Partnerships (CEP) funds projects to increase training and work experience for job seekers in B.C. Over 7,200 British Columbians have gained employment experience on 684 projects throughout the province.

Currently, three funding streams are open for applications:
Help for Communities Impacted by Tariffs

Projects that respond to labour market impacts in communities or for people affected by tariffs - such as those in forestry, steel, agriculture, manufacturing, and other sectors - will be prioritized and expedited. Please contact CEPTEAM@gov.bc.ca with the subject line "Tariff Response" to be connected to a team member for support. 

Eligible projects could include (but are not limited to):
  • Job fairs
  • Community impact reports
  • Skill gap analysis
  • Occupational skills training
