Community-based Employment Services
If you’re 18 or older and facing challenges that make it harder to find or keep work—like housing, health, or other personal barriers—these outreach services can support you.
How these services meet you where you are
You’ll get personalized support that looks at your whole situation—not just employment—so you can take steps toward work. Staff work alongside you in a respectful, culturally safe, and supportive way.
You can get support to:
- Understand your strengths, interests, and goals
- Build confidence and get ready for work
- Connect with local services for housing, health, or other needs
- Explore job options or training
- Create a step by step plan
- Find and keep work

Community-based Employment Services started in six communities and are now expanding to 16 more across B.C., making it easier for you to access support and build job readiness.
