The Community Workforce Response Grant (CWRG) program will begin accepting applications for Intake 4 on November 15, 2025 (9:00am) for training projects where the training start date is between January 5 and February 27, 2026. Deadline for Intake 4 applications is 4:30pm, February 2, 2026. Please see the Key Dates table for more information.
Please note the following:
- It is recommended that potential applicants review the CWRG Program Guide prior to applying.
- For Intake 3, decision announcements for funding will be made during the weeks of December 1 to 12, 2025.
- For Intake 4, decisions for funding will be made on December 19, 2025, January 30, 2026, and with continuous announcements until February 13, 2026, subject to funding availability.
- Agreement Holders are required to track Participant Financial Support (PFS) expenditures and upload their tracking form, along with the PFS attestation, prior to submitting their Completion Report. See Resources and Reference Documents for a sample tracker.
- Projects engaging a private training institution must submit the course outline at time of submission and ensure the course curriculum has been approved by the Private Training Institutions Regulatory Unit (PTIRU). Programs not approved, or that deviate from approved PTIRU programs, will not be funded.
- Projects engaging public post-secondary institutions are required to submit the course curriculum after submission by emailing CWRG@gov.bc.ca.
- The Certificate of Insurance (COI; form FIN173) is not required at the time of application submission; however, it is a required document for approval. If requested during project evaluation, a current COI must be submitted within three business days.
