The StrongerBC future skills grant is available to most British Columbians and covers up to $3,500 in eligible short-term skills training at public post-secondary institutions. Find out if you are eligible. The StrongerBC future skills grant is available regardless of your financial situation.
At EducationPlannerBC, you can view the catalogue of programs with job-related skills for high-opportunity roles. Select a program that aligns with your career goals.
Now that you have decided which training to take, register directly with the public post-secondary institution on EducationPlannerBC. Be sure to tell them you want to use the Future Skills Grant.
After you’ve registered for the training program with the public post-secondary institution, you will need to apply for the grant online with your BC Services Card Account.
Make sure you have set up your BC Services Card Account. You will need your account to log in. The new system will check your eligibility.

IMPORTANT! Remember to submit your application to the post-secondary institution before you apply for the grant.
