Introducing WorkBC’s Refreshed Career Trek Resource and 10 New Videos

Career Trek videos are a fun and easy way to explore different careers throughout B.C. from a firsthand perspective. The videos feature short interviews with people detailing their job duties and describing what their days look and feel like, including what aspects of their careers they find most rewarding and challenging.  Whether you are planning your career or helping someone explore their options, Career Trek videos help you learn about a variety of occupations.

What’s New

WorkBC’s Career Trek has been revamped with a fresh design that allows users to browse, search and learn about careers with greater ease. Improved search functionality allows users to search by job titles and keywords, and filter by career categories, level of education and training required, salary range, skills, region and more. Users can also adjust the view from grid to list or vice versa to suit their viewing preferences. Each video has a webpage with a summary, the career category, filming location, average annual earnings, job openings, level of education and training required, the top three essential skills for the career, recent WorkBC job board postings and related career videos.
