The StrongerBC future skills grant offers up to $3,500 for eligible short-term skills training at public post-secondary institutions across B.C. It is available to qualifying B.C. residents, regardless of your financial circumstances. Discover if you are eligible and take the next step toward your future.

Browse the catalogue on EducationPlannerBC to explore training programs that offer job-related skills for high-opportunity careers. Select a program that aligns with your career goals.

Once you have chosen which training to take, register directly with the public post-secondary institution or through EducationPlannerBC. Be sure to inform the institution that you intend to apply for the StrongerBC future skills grant toward your choice of program.

Once you’ve registered for your selected training program at a public post-secondary institution, you can apply for the grant through the online portal with your BC Services Card Account.

Before starting your application, please ensure your BC Services Card Account is active and ready to use, as it is required to access the portal and verify your eligibility.

Please note: Some post-secondary institutions may require applying for the StrongerBC future skills grant before Step 3. Please check each institution’s instructions on EducationPlannerBC.
