Community and Employer Partnerships
Community and Employer Partnerships (CEP) funds projects to increase training and work experience for job seekers in B.C. Over 7,200 British Columbians have gained employment experience on 684 projects throughout the province.
Currently, three funding streams are open for applications:
- Project-Based Labour Market Training (PBLMT)
- Job Creation Partnerships (JCP)
- Labour Market Partnerships (LMP)
Priorities for PBLMT projects
- Jobs in high-demand sectors
- Support people receiving income assistance with the skills and experience they need to find and keep employment and be independent from assistance
- Community-driven projects customized for job seekers with complex needs
- Equitable program investment across the province
- Indigenous-led projects
- Projects with a duration of 12 months or less
- Projects in communities affected by tariffs, such as forestry, agriculture, manufacturing, and others.
Projects will be assessed on merit and alignment with one or more of these priorities.
Priorities for LMP projects
